Each year, the Delaware Division of Parks and Recreation organizes half a dozen or so adventure races. "What's an adventure race?" you ask. Well, it's an outdoor race in which teams or individuals compete in two or more legs of mountain biking, running, orienteering, or various forms of paddling. Each race is designed with the average athlete in mind. Prizes are awarded for multiple categories and each participant receives an honorary race t-shirt.

The Fish Hawk Challenge is an individual or team race that includes trail running, orienteering, and mountain biking.

Compasses and maps will be provided, but you must bring your own mountain bike. Space is limited to the first 100 competitors, so please register in advance if you can.
