The Delaware Center for Horticulture maintains public gardens that are open on weekdays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Each of these features plants that are well suited to the region and are locally available in garden centers and nurseries. Guided group tours are available for a nominal fee, and both Gibraltar Gardens and Goodstay Gardens are within a short drive.
