Brandywine Creek State Park is a former dairy farm that was gifted to the state for public use in 1965. Two popular attractions include the 18-hole, disc-golf course (intermediate to advanced in difficulty) and the onsite nature center, the latter of which features an indoor observation deck that's ideal for wintertime wildlife watching. Speaking of wintertime, this park offers a designated sledding area at the park's main gate, just off Adams Dam Road.

Brandywine Creek State Park's many miles of trails, river, and rock walls make it a charming getaway for anyone seeking solitude from the big city. There's even a popular picnicking and fishing spot off Route 92 where you can also launch your canoe or kayak.
